Senior Project Manager
Dan Kern began his construction career in multifamily construction as an apprentice carpenter. His experience grew as he worked for residential remodeling general contractors, fine-tuning his construction knowledge, finish carpentry and cabinet making skills.
Dan was then able to advance to the next stage of career as a Project Manager for PGS Construction where he focused primarily on residential remodeling and custom cabinets. Over a 14 year period, Dan completed custom home remodeling in higher-end communities such as Brentwood, Encino, Huntington Harbor and San Clemente.
The next step on Dan’s career path was spent in the new home industry as a Warranty Service Manager for Curtis Homes. Dan managed multiple Warranty Representatives, covering 12 communities and 1,000 single family residences.
A turn in the 2006 economy brought a new experience in a familiar field of residential remodeling with West Coast Renovations where he was involved in residential property “flips.” Without knowing it at the time, this position was an introduction to unit turns and ultimately lead Dan to the multifamily industry.
Dan’s multifamily experience was key in his landing a Project Manager position at MFRG-ICON Construction in 2016. Dan successfully managed several large projects, has since relocated from California to the Scottsdale office and was promoted to Senior Project Manager.
